At our special location in Amsterdam (South), around 35 lawyers work in a beautiful office building with a garden on the water. The firm's clients are usually medium-sized entrepreneurs who have high demands: top-quality craftsmanship and excellent service from a proactive approach; a business partner they can trust and who knows their industry and company well.
You will be working in a team that focuses largely on legal services in the (professional) sports world, in which clients from professional football in particular are assisted. Advising and litigating at home and abroad on employment conditions, football transfers and conflicts between players and intermediaries/clubs are part of the work that you will perform. In addition, you will also perform work within the general employment law practice of the office, where you can think of advising on takeovers and reorganizations and on the creation of employment conditions. There is also a lot of litigation in various dismissal cases for both employers and employees/directors. The team has an open, pleasant and informal working atmosphere, in which professionalism and a high quality of service are paramount. The lines are short and there is an 'open door' policy.
Profile
- a completed master's degree in civil law, with several years (4-6) of relevant work experience;
- able to independently handle complex (international) cases;
- commercial, enterprising, independent and sporty;
- very interested in sports, especially football;
- excellent command of Dutch and English (proficiency in an additional foreign language is a plus).
