Arnout Gieske is gespecialiseerd in adviseren en procederen inzake Intellectueel Eigendomsrecht (IE). Hij stond cliënten bij in mediakwesties, bij de handhaving van merken en in nationale en internationale octrooigeschillen. Arnout adviseert over nut en noodzaak van bescherming, handhaving en exploitatie van IE. Vóór de overstap naar de advocatuur was Arnout werkzaam als docent Proces- en Privaatrecht aan de Vrije Universiteit te Amsterdam. Ook werkte hij als stafjurist bij de ondernemingskamer van het gerechtshof Amsterdam en bij de intellectuele eigendomskamer van het gerechtshof ‘s-Gravenhage. Naast zijn werk bij Van Diepen Van der Kroef publiceert en doceert hij regelmatig over intellectuele eigendom en procesrecht.
Arnout Gieske specialises in advising and litigating on intellectual property (IP) law. He has represented clients in media matters, trademark enforcement and national and international patent disputes. Arnout advises on the usefulness and necessity of protecting, enforcing and exploiting IP. Before switching to the legal profession, Arnout worked as a lecturer in Procedural and Private Law at VU Amsterdam. He also worked as a staff lawyer at the Enterprise Division of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal and at the Intellectual Property Division of the Hague Court of Appeal. In addition to his work at Van Diepen Van der Kroef, he regularly publishes and lectures on intellectual property and procedural law.
Arnout Gieske hat sich auf die Beratung und Prozessführung in Bezug auf das geistige Eigentum (IP) spezialisiert. Er betreute Mandanten in Medienfragen, bei der Handhabung von Marken und in nationalen und internationalen Patentrechtsstreitigkeiten. Arnout Gieske berät über den Nutzen und die Notwendigkeit des Schutzes, der Handhabung und des Betriebs des geistigen Eigentums. Vor dem Wechsel zur Rechtsanwaltschaft war er Dozent für Prozess- und Privatrecht an der Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Auch arbeitete er als führender Jurist bei der Unternehmenskammer des Gerichtshofs Amsterdam und bei der Kammer für geistiges Eigentum des Gerichtshofs Den Haag. Neben seiner Arbeit bei Van Diepen Van der Kroef veröffentlicht und doziert er regelmäßig über das geistige Eigentum und das Prozessrecht.
