About Renze Streng

Renze Streng specialises in civil court litigation at the first instance, on appeal and in cassation. From 2007 to 2014, he worked in the research office of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands in The Hague, the Dutch "cassation court". There, he was able to contribute substantively to the development of rulings that have had an impact on the application of national and international corporate law and international law by Dutch courts.

Renze Streng worked from 2014 to 2016 at a private investment bank in Santiago, Chile, where he advised on drafting collaboration agreements and setting up joint ventures for European investments in South American markets (including in the agricultural, tourism and energy sectors).

Renze Streng then spent a few years as a member of the international litigation practice of one of the largest Dutch law firms.

Finally, he has published on private international law and European law in renowned legal journals and collections.

  • Procederen voor slachtoffers van oneerlijke handelspraktijken en oplichting, ook in het kader van Europees conservatoir bankbeslag ter verzekering van verhaal.
  • Adviseren en procederen over internationale bevoegdheidskwesties en toepasselijk recht in geschillen tussen Nederlandse en Chinese betaaldienstverleners.
