Ken Watanabe is partner en werkzaam vanuit de vestiging Amsterdam. Ken is gespecialiseerd in ondernemingsrecht en contractenrecht. Hij adviseert ondernemingen en investeerders bij fusies en overnames en bij het opstellen en beoordelen van commerciële contracten, waaronder koopcontracten, leasecontracten, licentieovereenkomsten, financieringscontracten en franchiseovereenkomsten. Tevens vertegenwoordigt hij cliënten in civiele procedures onder meer over contractuele aansprakelijkheid en geschillen die verband houden met fusies en overnames. In Nederland gevestigde Japanse bedrijven voorziet hij van juridisch advies op diverse rechtsgebieden.
Ken Watanabe is a partner who works from the Amsterdam office. Ken specialises in corporate and contract law. He advises companies and investors in mergers and acquisitions and in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including purchase, lease, licensing, financing and franchise agreements. He also represents clients in civil proceedings, including on contractual liability and disputes related to mergers and acquisitions. He provides Japanese companies based in the Netherlands with legal advice in various areas of law.

Er berät Unternehmen und Investoren bei Fusionen und Übernahmen sowie bei der Erstellung und Beurteilung von Handelsverträgen, wie etwa Kauf- Leasing-, Lizenz-, Finanzierungs- und Franchiseverträgen. Darüber hinaus vertritt er Mandanten in Zivilverfahren u. a. zur vertraglichen Haftung und in Rechtsstreitigkeiten im Zusammenhang mit Fusionen und Übernahmen. Ferner bietet er in den Niederlanden niedergelassenen japanischen Unternehmen juristische Beratung in verschiedenen Rechtsgebieten.
