About the position

As an HR Advisor, you will be based in Purmerend, our Shared Service Center. You are part of a team consisting of eight people. You work closely and hands-on with the HR Officer. You support employees, sections, the partnership, and the board with all daily HR matters. Additionally, you ensure the correct implementation of HR policy and the guidance of HR processes. This means that you will also regularly visit the various branches in Alkmaar , Amsterdam , Hoorn and can be found in Utrecht.

The position of HR Advisor is a new role within Van Diepen. Van der Kroef Advocaten and offers you a great deal of initiative and personal development in the growth of your own role and our HR team. You will be supported in this by an external HR advisor where necessary.

We work based on trust, responsibility, and a great deal of personal freedom.

You are involved with (among other things):

• Supporting the partnership in the preparation of HR strategy and policy (recruitment, retention, diversity, culture, compensation)
• First point of contact for employees and partners
• Guiding performance and appraisal processes
• Advising on absenteeism, reintegration, and improvement processes
• Assisting with the recruitment of lawyers and support
• Rolling out HR projects (hybrid working, workload, culture, diversity)
• Identifying HR risks
• Coordinating or executing HR administration and training programs

Who are you?

We're looking for someone with strong technical skills who aligns well with our approach: professional, personable, and with an entrepreneurial spirit. You'll have plenty of space and freedom within our office, so we're looking for people who are proactive and independent.

You have:

• completed a higher professional education program with an HR specialization;
• several years of relevant work experience in business services (legal practice is a plus);
• a proactive, down-to-earth and committed attitude;
• good communication skills;
• problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality;
• team spirit and a healthy dose of humor;

And you are:

• independent and enterprising;
• accurate and analytical;
• discreet;
• service-oriented.
