In this position, you will be part of the Real Estate and Construction section at our Utrecht office, which consists of 4 people. The section is growing, and due to the departure of an employee, we have an immediate vacancy for a lawyer -colleague.
At our other offices, there are also 12 lawyers with this expertise with whom you can always brainstorm and collaborate on cases. You will also work with experienced specialists outside your area of expertise, for example, when matters in a bankruptcy case arise in which you specialize. You will receive your own cases as soon as possible. We work based on trust, responsibility, and a great deal of personal freedom.
You focus on advising, drafting contracts, and litigating for SME entrepreneurs and large corporations, particularly in the areas of:
You perform this both as part of a team and individually, and because these are often large matters, they are usually handled together. Our clients are primarily contractors (very large as well as smaller ones), installers, project developers, property owners, landlords, tenants, and real estate agents.
Our services clearly distinguish themselves from competitors through extensive and practical experience in the construction industry. This results in practical advice and texts, which is highly appreciated by our clients and explains the success and growth of the team.
We are looking for someone who is strong in content and fits well with our way of working: professional, passionate about the profession, and with an entrepreneurial mindset. Within our firm, you will have a lot of room and freedom, so we are looking for people who are proactive and independent.
You have:
- Completed the professional training for the legal profession
- At least 3 years of experience as lawyer construction law and/or real estate law
- An affinity for technology is a plus
- A proactive, down-to-earth, and committed attitude
- Good communication skills
- Team spirit and a healthy dose of humor and conviviality
